a bottle of concerntrated HCL (36.5) was labelled as 37%
(w/w) and density 1.19m/l.What is hcl molarity?

Answer Posted / sagar pawar

molarity{M}=V*B*P*D/100*m
Where V=Volume,B=Basicity, P=Purity, D=density
m= Molecular wt.
M=1000*1*37*1.19/100*36.5
= 12.06 M
