vector group test in transformers?
Answer Posted / muhammad asghar
Vector group contains two things:
1- Scheme of Connection
2- Phase shift between LV and HV windings
For Example, if Vector Group is Dyn11 then
Capital 'D' means HV winding is connected in Delta
Small 'y' means LV winding is connected is star
Small 'n' means LV winding has a neutral also
11 means LV winding is leading HV winding by 30 degree.
