I suggest Functional testing automation tool (like QTP,
RFT, Winrunner) for the project\product which has more
complex business scenarios or modules which are frequently
used by end users. Say for example kind of Blood Plasma
algorithm in any application is critical and need to be
tested prior to each release. QTP will solve this problem.
I suggest Load Testing tool (LoadRunner, Webload, Jmeter)
for the projects in which end stakeholders can't predict
number users at any point of time. Take Ecommerce sites or
IRCTC sites as an example.
