in thermal power plant the steam produced is made to cool
after falling on the turbine blades.
my question is why this is done while the same is needed to
heat up again.

This cycle is based on brayton cycle which work on two pressure one is max & second is minimum after passing through turbine pressure drop from max to min
now its outlet which is steam or steam + water.now we condence this fluid at min pressure beacause if it is not done then it is difficult to compress(4 increasing press from min to max) steam+water by compressor & if turbine outlet is steam then whole the energy to compress steam eaqual to turbine outlet work(ideally) so ultimately loss.
so it is done.
