Q.1 about yourself & family background ?
Sol: My Name is:xxxxxxxxx
My Father Name is:yyyyyyyyyy
My Mother Name is:aaaaaaaaaaa
I have Done my schooling from:hhhhhhhh and out with percent
of :99.99%
I have done my Intermediate from: (for Andhra pradeshians)
and out with % of:99.99%
I am Graduated in EEE from <college name> and out with 99.99%
My hobbies are:xyz,yas,kke
My aim is to settle in power sector of Electrical field.

Q.2 Why u choose Power sector as ur carrier starting not any
other sector ??
Sol: From my childhood onwards I am interested in making
some kind of equipments something like playing equipments
like remote car, helicopter, making a small bulb glow from the
power generated from a potato, though I have made all that by
reading books, I am really passionate in dealing with power
related field,through out my life.

Q. 3 What think abt NTPC ?
Sol: Simply to say NTPC is one of the greatest in govt
sectors that is ruling the power sector all over the India.

Techincal Questions:-
Q.1 about Vocational Training; What u did , see the main
Equipments?
Sol: I have undergone a vocational training in vizag steel
plant<this may vary from candidate to candidate>where in I
worked on transformers and electrical machines, ie.,
rewinding and testing them regularly for 4 months.
And also I have been in a department which is related to
substation extension of the plant, where I have been in
plant commissioning.

Q.2 Why a transformer Noise during its running condition ?
Sol: Transformers make noise during running condition
because of the following reasons:
1. The winding is not placed tight in the transformer box.
2. The transformer is not earthed properly.

Q.3 about transformer oil material & Test name for the
measurement of its dielectric strength & wht will u do if
its dielectric strength goes low ?some discussion type ?
Sol: Manual Oil Test
This system utilizes Variac having knob to rise the voltage
output manually. The equipment consist of Voltmeter provided
in Primary Circuit to indicate output voltage even after the
Breakdown and consist of Fast tripping circuit, Zero start
end lock, cage door interlock and operation safety.

Motorised Oil Test Set Manual / Auto Stirring
The system utilizes a motirized variac for rise of voltage
at a pre-set rate of rise of voltage generated. A double
throw switch is provided with circuit off Zero started.
Locking pre-set tripping arrangement, cage door interlock
and operation safety features.

Semi Automatic Oil Test Set
Same as above but rising and lowering of the voltage shall
be Automatic with pre-set Weight time for stirring and supply.
Automatic Oil Test Set
This is a micro-processor based the programming is pre-set
with the provision to change the programming weight time as
per the used.

Q.4 What is relation between transmission lines
&Communication lines ?
Sol: Both are transmission lines.one transmit power and the
other transmit power signal.

Q.5 Which Machine u will prefer to use at a place where
flammable gases are coming out & why ?
Sol: Well in this case I user Squirrel cage motors, because
they wont spark under running condition. They donot generate
sparks while running and thus they can be used in the place
where flammable gases are emerging out.

Q.6 how fault in an electric system is detected & how
protection of equipments is done ?
Sol: Probably there are many ways to find out the faults in
an electric system, but mainly used one is dual frequency
method. This is mostly used in underground cables, and other
way is to find by megger method.IN Dual frequency method two
frequencies are send through the two phases of the three to
find the fault and the frequency which is returned soon is
having the fault in that particular phase.

Q.7 Why we don’t feel electric shock in an electric train ??
Sol: Electric Trains are completely shock proof, and you can
only find the electric current is given to engine and not to
the whole train. And here precautions are taken so that no
leakage current is in contact with the train. And when you
see the way the power supply given to the train engine, the
bars are connected to the train through the string of disc
and pin insulators, and so we do not get any shock when we
are in train.

Q.8 Anything u want to ask from us?
Sol: No, Thank you Sir. So pleased to be here, thank you so
much.
