A man speaks the truth 3 out of 4 times. He throws a die
and reports it to be a 6. What is the probability of it
being a 6?
(a) 3/8
(b) 5/8
(c) 3/4
(d) None of the above
Answer Posted / adarsh
(d) None of the above
because the probablity og coming 6 in one dice is
1/6
because every digit have equal probality of coming
like for 1 it is 1/6
for 2 it is 1/6 ....
by this for 6 it is 1/6
but the person is speakin truth of 3/4 probablity
so simpy
(3/4)*(1/6)=1/8
