HOW TO CALCULATE EACH PHASE CURRENT WHILE A MOTOR CONNECTED
TO STAR- DELTA STARTER?

Answer Posted / abhishek patel

When motor is started in star Il=Ip (Line current = Phase
current). While working in delta Il=_/3Ip (Line current =
root 3 phase current).
Current taken on R Y B phase is known as Line current,
while current taken on motor six terminal individually is
known as phase current.
