Basically transmitter transmits data which is sensed by our
sensors at the field in the standard form to any
controller.It would be 4 - 20ma, 3 - 15psig, .2 - 1kg/cm2, 0
- 10vdc.When this kind of transmitter is used transmit
pressure data then it is called pressure transmitter and
flow transmitter for flow, level transmitter for level etc.
