1.when u click on login login page has to be displayed.
2.see the curosor whether its focusing on userid text field
3. enter the valid userid (becoz whenever ur testing first
begin the test with valid data)
3.1 enter the valid password.
3.2 now login.
3.3 it should show the home page of the user.
3.4 logout.
4 username textfield
enter the in valid username
4.1 enter with some blankspace between the characters.
4.2 enter some special characters at the end of user name
4.3 enter some number in the begining of the username.
4.4 enter the username leave the password blank ie dont
enter pwd and click on login
4.5 if the user name is of 6-32 enter 5 characters.
4.6 enter 33 alphanumeric characters
4.7 enter in caps
password textfield.
4.1.1 enter the valid password.
4.1.2 enter invalid pwd and login
4.1.3 enter blankspace along with the characters.
4.1.4 enter some specialcharacters.
4.1.5 if the pwd range is of 4-8 as per requirement
try to enter more then 8 characters, and less
then four character.
5. login button
5.1 enter valid username,validpassword click on
login button.
5.2 now enter in valid data username=blank
pwd=entered click login button.
5.3 now enter invalid username valid password click
on login button
5.4 leave username and pwd blank click on login
button

Hello. I am not here to answer your question. I jus found a job as software QA engr. And i am totally new to software testing. So can someone pls help me in the following scenario? there is this registration screen, and it contain: One textbox called Nickname which only accept alphanumerical One textbox called Contact which only accept numerical, One textbox called Email which can be filled with alphanumerical and symbol and One button called Register now becos there is so many textboxes, where i can filled with alphabet, number, symbol, "just space", leading zeros, leading space. there will be lots of combination. can someone pls help.. i will be appreciated if u can post the test case of the scenario i mentioned.
