In our home, thier is earthing to protect equipment like
(fridge,tv,computer.etc...).and this earthing wire is going
to ground...in three pin holder one is phase wire another
is neutral wire..and third one is earth..and this earth pin
area is greater then other two pin...coz R is inversley
proportional to the area..if A(area)is greater then R will
be small...and current always passes from lower resistance
path...suppose thier is any Short circuit occured in
fridge..then may be possible that line is directly
connected to that fridge body..and at that time if thier is
no any earthing..we will get shock..but if thier is
earthign provided, then current flows through earth..coz
human resistance is more than earth wire which is used..so
and current pass through earth wire to ground
