Hey Guys,

Looks like the agonizing waiting period just got extended
once again. SBI has posted a note on its website dated
23/08/2010 saying that due to extremely high number of
candidates called for the interview, they need some more
time to publish the results. 6 weeks time more.

WRITTEN TEST HELD ON 08TH , 15TH & 22ND NOVEMBER 2009

The interviews for the captioned recruitment exercise were
held in
the month of April & May 2010. Around 90,000 candidates were
interviewed and the tabulation of the interview marks and
merging
them with marks of written test is nearly complete. As the
recruitment exercise is massive, checking and crosschecking
of the
marks has been necessitated so that it is error free.
The exercise of final selection is state-wise and
category-wise based
on the reservations prescribed for SC, ST, OBC, etc. As
such, it is
equal to compilation of more than 200 independent merit lists.
We expect to complete the whole exercise and release the final
result in six weeks time. This is for the information of the
candidates. Candidates are requested to bear this delay with us.

Iam shortlisted for sbi asso clerk interview and i have few doubts regarding documents which are to be carried. (1) Should both the character certificates be in same format?(because college have their own format). (2) Is application form mandatory? (3) Bio data form photocopies should be taken before gazetted officer signs on the form or after signing? (4) All the documents attested by gazetted officer is mandatory including photocopies of bio data form?
