how many amps in 1 KVA? V=440v, PF=0.8 and FREQ=50Hz
Answer Posted / golak bihari naik
For 3-Ph system
KVA(Apparent Power)=1.732*V*I
I=(KVA/1.732*V)*1000
I=(1/1.732*440)*1000
=1.31 A
For a 1-Ph system
KVA=V*I
I=(1/440)*1000
=2.27 A
