Oil is used for the 3 purpose,
1. it provide insulation
2. it provide cooling of the windings.
3. with using oil we can take DGA (Desolve Gas
Analysis)which help to find out internal fault of x'mer

mostly the questions were from machines... d.c. machines, transformer, synchronous and induction all theory paper........ few from power system... but the level of paper was easy.....
What is the basic principal, by which DC voltage level is increased more than the supplied AC voltage during conversion. As upto AC level it is contorrled by firing anlge but after maximum level how is it possible.Please clear picture. OR we have to supply the higher level AC?
