circuit breaker is proctective equipment which proctect the
main circuit to fault condition by opening its contact
electrically as well as mechanically by recieving the
signal from protective relay.

Can we indroduce the principle of single phase induction mator to Transformer? i.e. by Producing rotating flux in the transformer.
in the directional overcurrent and earthfault protection,normally we are setting the angle 45 deg lead for phase fault overcurrent and -45 deg lead for earthfault fro forward direction.but both the fault are operating on the same angle region only.why?how the relay will response?
