1.why is +1+1=+2 why cant it be +3
2.Why is +1*-1=-1 why cant it be something else
3.why are the hilly areas more cooler than the ordinary
areas?

My question-How did this question come under electrical
engineering?
Well, I support the answer of Mr. Tarun Agarwal as a reply
to your first set of queries, but for the second query
about the hill station temperature, here is the answer-
Solar heat is collected by all surfaces at almost the same
time. After the heat collection comes the dissipation, or
reflection in the sense. in hilly areas, the area is more
convex. so, the area exposed to the atmosphere is more.
Hence, heat is distributed to a larger amount of air.
Whereas in low lying areas, the land is mode concave, there
is less exposure to atmosphere. So, the heat is dissipated
and distributed to a smaller amount of atmosphere, thus
heating up the area.
This is why we have more temperature in low lying areas
than in hill stations.
Hope my answer is precise enough to please ur (rather
eccentric)common sense. And the next time, kindly post ur
questions in the concerned branches, and please, stop doing
this...
