why loss is posted on asset side in balance sheet?
Answer Posted / libin kulamuttom
Capital is a liability.As loss
reduses owner's capital
we can either deduct the loss
from the capital a/c in
liability side or post it on the
asset side of a balace sheet.
Both have same effect.
