Can earth resistance be measured without connecting the
earth electrode?
and should earthing connections be disconnected
What is the effect of connecting two cables of different
sizes in parallel with supply?
Thanks in Advance.

Earth resistance of an electrode is measured without its
connections. When two cables are used in parallel, the cable
having lower resistance will share more current so that the
pd in both cables will be equal.
