why we can't use more then 50 hz in india ? Is it possible ?

Answer Posted / waqas ashraf

there are two standards
1)220v & 50hz
2)110 & 60hz
if we use 220 & 50: benefit is that we have high voltage &
low freq...disadvantage is that high voltage(220v) can cause
serious life damage risk.
&
if we use 110 & 60 :benefit is that we have less voltage as
compared to 220 but high voltage than 50 hz...
so life risk decrease in 2nd case...
