Stress produce strain or strain produce stress.....?Explain?
Answer Posted / vijayh2so4
Induced stress might not necessarily create strain.. There is a threshold stress that needs to be overcome, before any micro strain can be observed.. But, any strain, in case of rigid bodies, will induce stresses.. not only in rigid bodies, even in fluids, strain corresponds to shear stress..
