Currently I am applying for undergraduate F1 visa. But my long -term plan is to do a PhD from a good US/ UK /Canada top ranking university. What do I say when they ask me to prove that I will not be staying in the USA in my Visa interview?
Are immigrant parents (got green card just 6 months before) going to have negative impact in getting F1 visa when all other things are very good? (good undergrad result, test scores, very high ranked university I-20 with TA, strong financial strength in home country..)
i have 12 backlogs in my btech and 18 certificates in total...my question is will the visa officer consider my backlogs or certificates??many told me that u will have a problem if u have too many certificates...will he prefer the final certificate or all these certificates?please do answe r me...i have 85%in 10th and 80% in 12th and 65 in btech...312 gre score and 110 toefl..will he consider me?

My student visa was rejected on 24th june.It was due to immigration file.VO thinks that i will not come back to india.I am going for bachelor's degree at pennstate under collaboration program.So if pennstate write a letter to US consulate regarding me that they are taking responsibility of me that i will return to india after my graduation.So what are my chances for visa?

My elder sister and elder brother are citizens of USA. My parents have greencard of USA. My immigration visa has been filed but it will take a couple of years more to get it processed. I have never applied for visa till now. I am having a permanent job in India as a lecturer in MBA college but want to join MS in marketing (US)which gives me specialization in e-marketing which is the topic i would like to do a PhD on. i have been rejected on 11th of dec 09 for fi visa.consular asked about my academics which are bad i.e,5.04 cgpa and i have only one backlog because of attendance shortage she even asked about my backlogs i have answered the same she refused me straight away and said my academics are bad.I have 15 months of exp in a different field and my core is cse my gre is poor 780 and ielts is 6.0 can i book the slot again for the visa will i get it...?
