a bottle of concerntrated HCL (36.5) was labelled as 37%
(w/w) and density 1.19m/l.What is hcl molarity?
Answer Posted / mandal
d= m/v
calculate mass for 1L of Hcl
1.19*1000= 1190g . 1190 g of entire solution 37% is Hcl- hence
37/100*1190= 440.3 g is Hcl
M= mole/L = W/mw*1L= 440.3/36.5*1L= 12.06 M

In BP2013, Loperamid HCl monograph. Assay by titration with 0.1N sodium hydroxide using hydrocloric acid 0.01N and reading the volume added between the 2 points of inflexion. I have a question that if the diluent solvent is ethanol is certainly consumed a amount of volume of titrant, so this volume must be eliminated on the result calculation or not apart from first point which is subtracted above.
How do we get end points and how many end points are possible for citric acid and di-acid not theorotically answer should be given practically.
