semiconductor is a material whose conductivity lies in
between that of an insulator and a conductor.. while
electronics is a branch of physics which deals with the
effective study if these semiconductor materials and the
behaviour of electrons..

In the case of baseband signaling, the received waveforms are already in a pulse-like form. Why then, is a demodulator (receiving filter) needed to recover the pulse waveform?
