Why dont we get shock while testing for voltage with a line
tester?
How the bulb inside the tester glows while testing with
tester coz we are totaly isolated from earth or we are not
giving close path for the current to flow?

The contact(finger touch) is connected in series with the
pulp with metallic line contact through a resistor. The
resistor drops sufficient voltage such that we wont have a
shock while testing.
Complete isolation of our body from earth is impossible
unless we float in the air.Depending on the insulation
(shoes, bare legs, wood,Rubber mat...,,) to ground the light
intensity varies.
