1M Ohm is the resistance value. other than this the
resistor is rated with wattage like 1/2 watt, 1 watt so on.

so the i*i*r value of that corresponding resistance shud
not be more than the wattage rating of the resistor. this
determines the current value. when u know the current value
eventually you get to know the voltage.
