What is the diff. Between Waterfall and Spiral model?

water fall model is a sequential model where each phase is done with the completion of the previous stage and the customer feed back or the end user feed back is taken after the implementation phase.
spiral model is an iterative and incremental model using the
prototyping technique.In this model customer involvement is done in each and every phase changes can be implemented in any stage of the process. And also time is not much wasted in the spiral model when compared to the water fall model.Testing and risk analysis is also easily handled in the spiral model this is somewhat difficult when compared with the earlier model.
The most advantage of the spiral model is TESTING is easily
implemented.

do we need to write test cases for workflow of the product for instance: there is 2 module "TRAINING ASSIGN MODULE" and "EMPLOYEE" in TRAINING assign MODULE iam assigning training to employee setp is 1.selct traning "oracle" 2.select employee u want assign "peter" 3.apply. now to check whether training assign or not GOTO EMPLOYEE module 1.click on "peter" 2.click on 'view assign to employee'link.now this is a flow do i need to write test cases for this fllow.plz help me guy mail me nirmal_rawatt@rediff.com

hi everybody, iam Adi Durga, i complited my bsc(computers) in 2008.I have experience in finacial and bpo companys(mnc). but iam intersted on s/w role.I have the technical skills c, c++, Oracle 9i and manual testing. But i dont know hoe to strat my career in s/w. Every company offering on financial/bpo side. In this I attended nearly 10 companies,I selected in 8.
