Transformers: It is an electrical equipment used for
stepping up/down the voltage level for transmission as well
as distribution.
Power Factor: The cosine of angle between voltage and
current is known as power factor. If the current lags
behind the voltage then it is called lagging P.F. If the
current leads the voltage then it is called leading P.F.
Machines: Equipments used for electromechinal conversion
are known as machines.
