Threshold Limit in respect to TDS (under Income tax in
India) refers to the gross amount up to which the amount
paid or credited need not be subject to deduction of Tax at
Source. These limits are specified under the relevant
sections of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Eg. Sec 194C, 194I, etc.)
