What are the advantages & disadvantages between analogue &
digital communications?

Answer Posted / sigma 6

Disadvantage: Analog signals are prone to noise and when
lost (fades and blockages etc.)it cannot be recovered
anymore, limited in capacity.
Advantage: Analog signals are true representation of the
original signal, easy to implement, real time transmission.

Disavantage: Digital signals requires high BER reliability
requirements, not real time, difficult to implement.
Advantage: transmission rebustness under adverse
conditions, high capacity, lost informations can be
recovered, higher noise tolerance, complex modulations can
be impelemented easily, multiplexing techniques are easy to
implement.
