Hiding a column in Webi is Tricky. actually hiding is not
possible in webi so you will have to show some other data
in column you want to hide. for example if your report
contains, product name, product id and color & you want to
hide color. Then make an alert on product id. in formula
bar give condition that product id = product id. That way
condition will be true always. Now in format section in
top, click the left button for value of object. and select
column product id. Now as par alert where condition product
id = product id will be true it will give value of product
id only. Now in report you get two column for product id.
You can delete previous one.
Though i could not give any screen shot i have tried my bet
to explain it.
