8men = 6days
8 men do 1/6 th work in 1 day
so 1 man does 1/8 * 1/6 work =1/48 work in 1 day
in 1/2 day he does 1/96 th work
To complete the work (1) in 1/2 day requires 96 men
So answer is 96
