the question is about buchloz relay
why we called it buchloz relay

It is observed that people blindly mark the answers "yes"
or "NO". Therefore this system is not serving any purpose.
It will be better if a "reply" button is provided at the
bottom of the answer so that others can respond to it in a
meaningful way.
Also. it may be noted that "Is this answer correct" can not
be always answered in "yes" or "No". For example, refer the
ans #4 given above. You can not say that what is given in
the answer is wrong. The statement "It's a
gas operated relay, used for oil immersed
transformers...................transformer" is correct.But
it is not relevant to the question "Why we call it bucholz
relay?". The relevant answer is that it is named after the
inventor (as given in answer#3). These issues can be
brought out only when there is a reply button rather than
a "yes" or "no" button.
Unfortunately, I could not see a "contact us" menu for
giving this feedback. So, I am posting this as an answer.

I have an existing old MCCB. ABB Model SACE, the rating are: Ue = 660 volts, Iu =1250 Amps, 3 poles, Ith (max) =800 amps at 45 deg C. I need a circuit breaker for my 3 phase motors, 380 volts 60 hz. the supplier required the minimum ampacity of the breaker to be 911 amps. can i use this breaker with rating of Iu =1250 amps but Ith = 800amps maximum?
