what is the primary current in 415/415 v when secondry of
dry type transformer is shorted.?
Answer Posted / naresh kinger
It will be 139/4.7 x 100 = 3415 AMP on secondry side.
Since ratio is 1/1, primary current will also be 3415 AMP.
Hope it clear now. For any doubt, you can write me at
