who provides the test data in ur company?

Most of the time test data will be created by the testers
itself by getting the information from the client.
But, we can have production data dump copied in our QA
environment so that we can have original data setup as per
customer usage. We then start using that data for our
testing.
Actually it depends upon the type of project we are dealing
with.
