Transformer works om principle of MUTUAL INDUATION.
This can easily understand by this two laws.
1.PRODUCTION OF MAGNETIC FIELD WITH ELECTRIC CURRENT.
When an electric current flowing through any conductor it
not only produces heat but also magnetic filed arround the
wire & identified by placing needle near to the
condutcor.Intensity is increased by wound the wire in to
ring and amount of electric current flowing through the
wire.
2.PRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC CURRENT WITH MAGENTIC FIELD.
Whenever conductor is moving in the magentic field an EMF
will generated in the conductor and magnitude of the
voltage depends on the rate at which conductor moves..( DC
generator principle )
In primary winding magentic field is produced with the aid
of electric current whereas in the secondary winding
electric current ( EMF ) will produced with aid of magnetic
feild.
