We need to consider few factots :
1) Shop owner's duty to discuss with sales exective the
real issue and to investigate whether the note given by
customer is really fake one OR the next shop owner lied &
cheated the sales executive.
2) if the next shop owner cheated by lying then NO loss to
sales executive
Further if it found to be fake one then :
3) whether the shop has valid note identification machine,
if so sales executive's loss is either cost of the mobile +
250 OR aed 750(full price) + aed 250, depends on the shop
owner's decision of punishment.
3) if the note identification machine not installed and
hence, if the shop owner is sincere one who understands the
employee's difficulty in identifying the difference in
original and fake notes, then he might consider
a)forgiving the sales executive and warn him to be extra
careful.
b)In addition to the point (a) he may lodge police
complaint against the customer on fake note ( if he has
proper address, details of customer)
c)any other action based on Shop owners's decsion. But
maximum loss in any case is aed 1,000/- OR if sales
executive found to be in fault he may be punished as per
any caluse for such acts in his employment contract.
