In SAP we have 12normal periods+4Special periods...
We can use these special periods as Optional. as year ending Adjustments Purpose.
1. we can get from 1 to 12 Accounts Dept. Profitability.
2. we can use 13th period as Management Adjustment entires/profitability.
3. we can use 14th period as tax adjustments purpose.
3. we can use 15th periods Auditors finalized entries/Profitability.
4. we can use 16th period as Auditors Rectification entries.
all 4 special periods are Optional and it will be Part of
12th Period only. Eg: accounting year is April to March so the special periods will Part of March only. but will define 13, 14, 15, 16 like. Genarally the companies use max one are two special periods.
