do we write test cases with out requirements?.
Yes..But we can write the universal generic test cases to check purpose of object and main functionalities are working or not.
Hello People realize one thing here..
For any object in the world we can write "Universal Generic( Test cases"(At least we can write test cases for Common requirements to check the purpose of the object is working fine or not. even we can check by writing test cases based on general mandatory functionalities are working or not..even with out having the requirements..if at all we have customer requirements then we can write based on that exactly.
Then how can they ask us in interview to write cases for any thing?
As much as possible we can write the universal generic test cases and then still the interviewer is not satisfied..then we can ask him like if you provide me requirements then based on that i can write we can tell like this..
But one thing we should remember here is :
" When ever we are writing test case means there should be minimum chance of identify the defect". based on this we will write the test cases....
If i am wrong please correct me..
