However, I have never worked on portal, But as per my
understanding I will do following,
1. check browser, ports and server Connection use ping and
telnet utility to find otu if port is OK
2. check JCMON to see server process are alive or not
3. Login to visual admin and check/diagnose services.
4. check out other network stuff and work process logs.
