Cloning is a process where the nucleus of one egg is taken
and it's coated with the membrane of other individual,
to get a duplicate of a person. so my question is:when we
use egg of some individual and membrane of some other how
will we get a duplicate of a particular individual?

The nucleus is the basic genetic material because it
contains the DNA. The DNA codes for all of the phenotypes
(external characteristics) of an individual. Thus, the
phenotype of the nucleus-donor is expressed. In humans,
there are also certain characteristics that are expressed
by the mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA). Thus some of the
characteristics of the clone would be that of the mtDNA
derived from the donor of the cytoplasm and cell membrance
(coz mitochondria is cytoplasmic). Hence, a clone would
have major expressions of the nucleus donor and minor
expressions of the cytoplasm donor.
