Grop of sessions are known as Batch.
there are 2 types of batchs are availble
Parlal batch and Sectional batch
Parlal batch:Sessions are executed at the same point of time
Sectional batch: Sessions are executed one after another.

Hi Everybody, I have one fixed width file as source and 4 oracle tables (relational) as target. What are the Unit test cases i need to implement ? 1.Using TextPad software i tested postion of the field 2.As per specification i tested like whether it is correctly mapped or not? Informatica Server and Client are in different machines. You run a session from the server manager by specifying the source and target databases. It displays an error. You are confident that everything is correct. Then why it is displaying the error?
