Why electrical engineer use Cu Strip for transformer
neutral why not GI Strip? What if we use GI instead of Cu
does it affects the transformer performance.
Answer Posted / mallikarjuna reddy
Electrical peoples widely used cu strips instead of GI
strips for transformer neutral, because whenever unbalance
currents occurs in the line it have to flow to the
ground, for this we need high conductivity material.thats
why we are using cu. strip instead of GI strip.usually
copper is an high conductivity material than GI material
