What is the difference between QA and QC ?

QA is a department ,which checks each and every role in the
organisation inorder to confirm that whether they r doing
their work according to company's process guidelines or
not.
QC is also a dept, which checks the developed product or
it's related partsin order to con firm that whether they r
working acccrding the client's expectations.
as per my knowledge, i have given these answers. correct
