If you find a bug and the developer says it is as-designed,
what can you do?

Answer Posted / srikanth nandi

In such a situation, u need to perform a root cause
analysis and check the impact of the bug on the customers
business. if the severity is high and it is not covered in
the testing scope as per test plan then a discussion should
be made with the test lead and business analyst. Sometimes
UI bugs can be ignored. But bugs related to revenue cannot
be ignored when resolved as by-design.
