What is UTP?

UTP consists of four pair of twisted withen an outer
insulation jacket. Each pair is further twisted to reduce
interference. UTP cable use the IEEE 10Base-T Ethernet
standard. The maximum length for the network segment using
UTP is 100 meters. It is deffierent category are
cat1,2,3,4,5,5e,6,7.
