what is the difference in the aminoacid sequence in normal
haemoglobin and sickle cell anaemic person?

nomal hb contains aminoacid glu in 6th position whereas in
sickle cell anemia it is replaced by valine.In sickle cell
anemia the hb is sickle shaped so it cannot carry oxygen as
it does normally.
