Basically QA stands for the Quality assurance of the product..As a QA person i will strongly believe that the product supplied will be of Very good quality as the process and the quality standards were set by US..
Ex:when i phrasing a TV and some starches or some functional problems then the end customer will scroll about the Quality process not the production process..
As a QA person i strongly believe in Driving the Quality of product to the satisfaction level of customer
