what do you mean by port triggering?

Answer Posted / dharmendra kumar soni

Basically port triggering and port forwarding both are same
difference when we are using port forwarding on router will
open port no matter that u are using or not internal address
means if you must change or editing, modify entry router.it
is static.port triggering little secure it is dynamic.but in
that case you don,t need to change port entry on router but
it is not stable (disadvantage).means Port Triggering is
port forwarding with an on/off switch.

Thanks
