i) in which cases should we go for neutral and where should
we go for ground?
ii) in domestic supply we are getting 230v a.c.and what is
the amount of current?

1. To complete the ckt neutral is necessory.
And when accidints like shock etc happen then grounding or
earthing is necessary to flow faulty current to the earth.
2.Yes, in domestic 220 1ph or 440 3ph we r getting, but the
current in domestic lavel we have to consider Ele. Board
Sanctioned load. it means suppose EB sanction load is 4kW,
but connected load is around 7kW, for this we have to
consider current for sanction load only i.e 4kW not for
7kW. So current for 4 kW will be 21A, so MCB will be of 25A.
