What is the difference b/w Smoke and Sanity Testing? I heard
that Sanity testing will be done by developers. Is that so?
Answer Posted / ayush
Both are same in a way.
But you guys are not understanding where the name Smoke and
Sanity comes from. Smoke means presuming something to be
false as something is burning or going wrong. Whereas the
Sanity means assuming that everything should work fine.
As I posted earlier only the perception is different.
