how does bode plot have an advantage over root locus? how
does it determine the stability of a system depending upon
the location of poles and zeroes?
Answer Posted / rakeshm, tirupati
usually root locus is to know how the system closed loop
poles vary when a particular parameter of the system is
varied( generally parameter is choosen is gain). the plot is
located in s plane. in bode plot gain vs frequency is
plotted for a particular k(gain) value. so gain is adjusted
with respect to frequency in bode plot.
